A carefully-selected team of judges spend a whole day (quite literally from dawn to dusk) reviewing your applications and giving everyone the exact amount of points they deserve for their efforts

How do I apply?

Applying is quick and easy, simply navigate to the Apply Now tab at the top of the screen and fill out the online form. A confirmation e-mail will be sent confirming your application.

Can people vote for me?

Yes, people can vote for you, this will count for 50% of your total score – in order to combat bias, the judges will only be made aware of the voting score after the judging for each category has been completed.

Is there an age restriction?

 

Yes, you must be 18+ to apply or be nominated for any category.

How is the short list decided and how many will be picked per category?

We aim to shortlist 5 companies per category however this may vary depending on quality of applications received for each category – make sure it is your best effort!

What do I do after I have applied?

Nothing, sit back and relax! We may be communicating with you for additional information regarding your application. And if you’re lucky enough to get shortlisted make sure you get the word out for everyone to vote for you!

What is the judging process?

Once the short list for each category has been announced there will be a period of public voting where members of the public can vote for their favourite suppliers. Short listed candidates will be provided with a ‘Vote for Me’ badge which they can use to encourage votes.

Once the voting closes, an independent panel of judges will meet to adjudicate the results and select the final winner. Please note the public votes will account for 50 percent of the final decision, finalist will also be marked on the strength of their application, testimonials and the evidence provided. If you have been nominated, you must complete an application form for your best chance to win.

Anyone can be nominated if you work within the Asian wedding industry, fall into one of our categories, and your based in the Midlands.

Does someone have to nominate me / my company?

Not at all! If you believe in your company and what you bring to the Asian wedding industry, we highly encourage you to nominate yourself. Being in the running is the only way you’ll win!

What happens after nominations?

After nominations have closed all eligible companies will head through to our public vote.

How does the public vote work?

All eligible companies will head through to the public vote, only the top 4 from each category will move onto the be finalists and go through to judge’s day

What do I do if I get through to judges’ day?

We will contact you to make you aware that you have made it to the top 4! We will then require you to send through a short 2-minute video about your company and fill out a short application form, along with a few images and tesimonials.

What happens on judge’s day?

Our judges spend a full day deliberating our finalists and giving them a score, counting for 50% of the total score. Ranking from the Public vote makes up the other 50% of the total score – in order to combat bias, the judges will only be made aware of the voting score after the judging for each category has been completed.
